Unexpected

An unexpected post from me. Usually will blog on alternate days. Yesterday, Dorothy chatted a while with me on the msn. She then showed me a link of a video and I decided to share with dear readers too.

Let me tell their story
That no one else can hear
How can someone's laughter
Bring me close to tears?
And you'll never know
Cause you're never there
After what we've seen
Can we close our eyes again

Let me tell their story
You won't think it's true
I have not forgotten
So I'm sharing it with you
For all the things we know
What have we really learned
Though I close my eyes
The images remain
And their story
Begins again

End of first week of mid sem break

Basically did nothing much.

Anyway, let the pictures do the talking.

Cabbage and Carrots by Pretib

Microwave dry curry by Pretib

Its 11.00 p.m. and I've just finished watching 9 episodes Hana Yori Dango in 1 day (Thanks Vi-vian for this show). Its a Japanese TV series adapted from manga. Definitely recommended for watching. For me, I'm a person who always wanted to learn Japanese. The way they speak and attitude are really unique and polite. Currently downloading the second part of the show. Can't wait for it!!!

Here's an OST (Original Sound Track) from the show

Is my post getting shorter and shorter? Beware the next post will be a long LECTURE

New accomodation?

From the first day of mid sem break which was on last Friday, I basically did not do nothing much. Never studied too. I should be starting my Market Analysis and Business Information System assignments and all four subject's homework. Anyway, my housemates and I went to check out a house for rent in the suburb yesterday. The house costs $345 per week for four bedrooms which is REALLY cheap!!! Also, it has a huge garden, garage and a swimming pool. Means, each of us got to pay $86.25 per week only.

Here's a picture of the house

Metaphor

Its 9.20 in the morning and it's my second time waking up this early in Adelaide (I woke around 7.30). The first time waking up this early was the day where we need to meet up with a real estate agent. Yea, I finished my LAW assignment. Hopefully I can pass this assignment and the final exam as well.

After been here for quite some time since I'm here. Of course there are many differences compared to Malaysia. Firstly is the manners where older people here tends to greet random people on the streets. There was once in the tram where I stood up from a seat for an elderly man. He gave a smile and said thanks to me. Back in Malaysia, people will just stare into your face and walks off or acts as if there's nothing happened.

Another major difference is the crimes here are much lesser compared to Malaysia even though the population here is much higher. I wonder why? The efficiency of work here is greater too. It takes about a day to repair the road on the streets. The bus and trams here were convenient where physically impaired or elders can use them anytime and any day.

As life goes on especially when when you are abroad, the things that we sees tends to change. It really helps me to be a more mature, responsible and independent person. For instance, a person cannot cook 5 cups of fried rice in a small pot. He or she can cooks them separately in different pots or either cooks them twice or more. There is no right or wrong in doing many things but depends on how people looks at it or how well the job is done.

I'll try to blog twice or more in a week.

All right, pictures time.

Joy in Adelaide

Well, the title says it all. Most of my housemates and friends finished their assignments and waiting for the break, which is next week. For me, I've done my BIS (Business Information System), IBPF (Investment Banking & Project Finance) and left with only LAW. So basically, we just bought some drinks and chilled yesterday in 1/27 Cypress Street and today early morning was at 9/27 Cypress Street.

Again, no boring lectures from me.

Earth Hour where we off the light for an hour (can see my housemates playing torchlight?)

Taufu with curry (good combo?)

Fish Fingers

Sardines

Tomato pasta

The meal (Much better than the previous one ok? So don't complain)

Baked beans with scramble egg

I forgot to say that we bought a table with four chairs for AUD$ 15.00

Coins where we need them whenever when we pay for marketing

Black pepper chicken by me (I know its exactly different from Malaysia)

Boiled Lettuce

Perfect Egg by Kah Leong

24 x 325ml bottle of Heineken

Put some in the fridge because no space already

Mashed potatoes that we bought for chicken curry. Took 3 from it and we ate. Then realize that the cupboard is smelly and once we opened the bag, there's 1 potato mashed with maggots crawling around.

After the curry which was yesterday, we went over to 1/27 Cypress Street and chill. We started with vodka.

Next was whiskey (32% alcohol)

Red vine

Then the next day, Boey and Sara came to 9/27 Cypress Street with...

Black label (40% alcohol)

And the week goes on..What about my LAW assignment? Anyone out there can save me? I don't really have the mood to start typing but I had read the case which is 9 pages long. First time reading the same page over and over again and yet not fully understanding it. So dumb of me right? Anyway, just watched the movie called Pathology with Kah Leong and Vi Vian. I'd rate it 6/10.

Really hopes the mid semester break is here.
